The DFM has signed numerous partnership agreements and memorandums aimed at adopting international best practices, promoting financial knowledge, providing market data, and identifying joint initiatives in collaboration with the institutions. 

The DFM, either directly or indirectly, ensures that various stakeholders in capital markets are collaborating for sustainable development of the market and reflect the diversity and growth of the national economy.


The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE), in order to create the appropriate framework to develop relationship and streamline joint procedures pertaining to securities endowment as well as further strengthen the two sides’ efforts for the good of the UAE society.

United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE)

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) is a Partner Exchange member of the United Nation’s Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) initiative, as part of a global effort to promote sustainability of performance and transparency in capital markets. As a member, the DFM will join forces with the international efforts to spearhead sustainability practices amongst capital markets.

Yemen Ministry of Finance

As part of its commitment to supporting efforts aimed at developing financial markets across various Arab countries, Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and the Republic of Yemen  signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The MOU creates a general framework for the areas of cooperation and various aspects of knowledge transfer and technical to support the establishment of the capital market in Yemen. 

Middle East Investor Relations Society

Dubai Financial Market “PJSC” signed a MOU with Middle East Investor Relations Society, the first IR official body in the region, making DFM the first regional exchange to associate with the society. The agreement highlights both parties commitment to enhance investor relations practices in the UAE and encourage other public companies to follow suit for the good of investors.

Dubai eGovernment

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) signed an agreement with Dubai eGovernment which will enable market participants to pay the exchange’s fees electronically through the Dubai eGovernment Portal. This Portal is one of the Government of Dubai’s main initiatives aimed at providing effective and secure channels to facilitate the relations between government departments and the public, which will ultimately save time and effort.

Emirates ID

Emirates Identity Authority and Dubai Financial Market (DFM) signed a strategic partnership agreement that recognizes the “Smart” ID card as a main and permanent source of data relating to the beneficiaries of the electronic services provided by DFM. This agreement stems from both parties’ keenness to develop customer services and provide innovative services with a positive economic and social impact. 

CBL International Education

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CBL International Education – partnership outlining key areas of cooperation. Through this MoU, DFM became the Gold partner of all academic programs of CBL International in Dubai.

American University in Dubai (AUD)

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inaugurated its Educational Trading Floor at the American University in Dubai (AUD). The 5th floor reaffirms the exchange’s pioneering position amongst regional financial markets in educational initiatives as part of its firm commitment to social responsibility. The new facility builds on the overwhelming success of the first educational trading floor, inaugurated at Dubai Men’s College early 2012 and the similar floor at the American University in the Emirates (AUE), inaugurated December 2013.

Hawkamah Institute

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and The Hawkamah Institute for Corporate Governance (Hawkamah) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to increase public awareness with regards to corporate governance and its implementation in the UAE.

Thomson Reuters

The Dubai Financial Market has signed a new formal agreement with Thomson Reuters covers the dissemination of DFM market data. The agreement highlights the two parties ongoing commitment to provide market data to the financial sector and end users of market data, with the required information to make informed research–based investment decisions.


UAE Accountants & Auditors Association

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE Accountants & Auditors Association. The MoU represents a general framework that governs the relation between the two sides and areas of mutual collaboration, sharing expertise in various areas and encouraging the adoption of best practices and performance enhancement.


Awqaf & Minors Affairs Foundation

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Awqaf & Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF), as part of the two sides’ deep belief in the importance of mutual collaboration and coordinated efforts for the greater good of the UAE society.
